Portland-based TheBigDay.com Helps Raise $25,000 for Charity
TheBigDay, in concert with the Cathy comic strip, raised $25,000 in donations to the Pet Orphans of Southern California through a unique online wedding registry for the comic strip characters Cathy and Irving.
(PRWEB) June 24, 2005 -- When comic strip legend Cathy Guisewite, the creator of the Cathy" comic strip (the real-life Cathy), and her fiancé Irving recently got married, they never imagined that their wedding gift registry would raise $25,000 for orphaned dogs and cats!
