The 2,000 member Professional Pricing Society (PPS) successfully conducted its first ever European Pricing Conference to a sold out room of pricing and marketing executives last week, in Brussels. The sold out conference, "The Dawn of A New Pricing Era" featured speakers and topics that addressed pan European and global pricing issues.
Top executives packed the two day conference that included a Comprehensive Pricing Workshop and speakers from a wide variety of industries. Simon Kucher and Partners, McKinsey, Mercer Management Consulting, and PriceGain, were some of the companies representing the very best in the field of pricing that delivered the latest in modern strategies and techniques.
The response from the executives attending was overwhelmingly positive. 100% of their post-conference evaluations rated the European event as either excellent or very good. There were no disappointed executives rating their experience as poor, fair or even just "good." "This reflects our 16 year trend of delivering top quality pricing education and networking conferences in the USA, and I am ecstatic about the quality of expert speakers and the executives that attended this most important event in Europe," said Eric Mitchell, PPS President.
Unfortunately, PPS had to turn away more than two dozen late registrants. Pricing is much more complex and the need to address pricing is more crucial in Europe than in any other region of the world. The very subject of pricing profitably and consistently across Europe is increasingly vital to the senior management of industrial and consumer goods firms. We will definitely plan to expand our support of the European pricing community with future conferences and webinars.
