PR is an original new blogging site that was created with the intent of acting as a communication medium to connect all those individuals around the country and the world that are in some way involved in the travel industry. From the general traveling public and small town travel agents, to large travel agency owners and the airlines, cruise lines, resorts, and other industry vendors they serve, PR offers a user friendly and anonymous environment where registered bloggers can post stories, articles, ideas, suggestions, and other personal experiences to be viewed by other readers who share the same interest in travel that they do.

PR is an innovative new website aimed at bringing the entire travel industry community together via a unique combination of interactive blog postings and daily news updates.

Readers from all facets of the travel industry, as well as the general public, now have one single place they can go to chat with industry colleagues, share their own personal vacation stories and experiences, post news articles and other information that will be helpful to the traveling American public, as well as gain a rare insight into the inter-workings of the travel industry itself.

PR is an independent organization composed of a small group of travel industry veterans that simply wanted to create an outlet for those working in the industry and the general traveling public alike to come together and share their personal thoughts, stories, and experiences.

“The purpose of PR is to give the millions of people around the country that are either directly or indirectly involved in the travel industry a chance to come together and share their ideas and experiences, both good and bad, with others that are interested in the same things they are,” said Michael Marshall, Chief Technology Officer of PR “Like all those individuals that will be visiting our site, we all have a passionate love for travel. PR brings together a diverse group of people who share this same love, and gives them an outlet to speak freely and openly about whatever they wish.”

In the interest of being as user friendly as possible, PR is divided into four main areas, depending upon which general area of the travel industry you fall under. Those wishing to make blog posts can register in the Travelers, the Agents, the Agency Owners, or the Vendors section.

The Travelers blog is intended for the use of absolutely anyone visiting PR Once the very quick and simple registration process is completed, visitors can post comments, suggestions, reviews, stories, articles, or anything else they wish relating to any kind of travel.

The Agents blog is for the use of registered travel agents only. Since only verified agents can use or view this area of the site, travel agents are free to share their own personal stories, experiences, sales tips, and more with fellow agents from all across the country that they would probably never have the opportunity to meet otherwise.

The Agency Owners blog is provided for the sole use of travel agency owners. As with the Agents Blog, only verified agency owners can post in or view the contents of this particular section. This area of PR gives agency owners from all areas of the industry a chance to communicate with other agency owners around the Unites States about everything from fun stories, business strategies, and sales figures, to their personal and business relationships with each other and their subsequent vendors.

In the Vendors blog, all travel vendors, including airlines, cruise lines, land resorts etc., are given their own area to discuss amongst themselves a wide array of topics including advertising strategies, travel statistics, client/agency relationships, and more.

PR is proud to finally offer a “global café” of sorts for all those individuals that make up the extraordinary and ever-changing landscape of the travel industry. As one of the fastest growing industries in the nation and the world, travel will certainly only continue to evolve and become even more exciting, and PR will be here to document it all.
