About Larian
Larian creates digital mixed media that combine images of his oils, pastels,watercolors, collages, drawings, photographs and poetry. Some are as bright and complex as a kaleidoscope, while others are as soft and gentle as a summer rain. Yet each one offers an intriguing visual experience.Originally from California, Larian has painted since childhood. Over time, he moved from landscape images made with the palette knife in limited earth tones, into visionary-mystical works.

He established his first gallery in Laguna Beach, California, selling three paintingsto a curious passerby who happened along before the paint on the walls had dried. Later a visitor from France recommended Larian's work for consideration by the International Academy of Lutec in Paris. Subsequently awarded the Academy's Silver Medal, Larian is one of the few Americans to have received this honor.

Larian's work has been exhibited in galleries in New York, the Midwest, California, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and is represented in private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan and Australia.
