A flight to Aspen has always been a pain, until now. On June 30, Perfect Jet Travel, Inc. begins regularly scheduled, non-stop air service every Thursday and Sunday afternoon in both directions between selected cities and Aspen, Colorado, using large-cabin business jets. Passengers will purchase only the seats they need on each flight, saving up to 80% of the cost of traditional jet charter and 70% of the time spent using commercial airlines.

Perfect Jet uses large-cabin business jets such as the Gulfstream III and IV, the Challenger 604, and the Falcon 2000. Travelers can choose any combination of departure and return dates. They will depart from private terminals and need to arrive only fifteen minutes prior to departure. A uniformed employee of Perfect Jet will greet them at the curb, deliver their baggage to the plane, and park their car. On board, a flight attendant will serve complementary beverages and appetizers. Upon arrival at their destination, passengers will be met by another Perfect Jet employee who will assist with baggage and ground transportation.

The first flights will connect Dallas-Aspen and Los Angeles-Aspen, to be followed soon by flights connecting Houston, New York, Chicago and other cities to Aspen. The price will vary depending on the distance; for example, the price for Dallas and Los Angeles is $1,750 one-way or $3,500 round trip, and the price for Houston is $1,950 one-way or $3,900 round trip. After the service to Aspen is established, Perfect Jet will provide service to other hard-to-reach destinations.

The flight crews are among the most experienced and skilled in the industry. All Perfect Jet flights are flown by Jet Solutions, L.L.C. or one of its carefully chosen substitute direct air carriers, which are licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration. Since 1991, Jet Solutions has flown tens of thousands of flights for its customers without a single flight-related injury. It currently operates more than 80 modern jets, including all the aircraft in Bombardier’s Flexjet fractional ownership program.

Perfect Jet is the pioneer in using business jets for by-the-seat charter services. It was founded by Dennis Keith, a veteran of almost forty years in the business-jet industry. He began as a pilot/mechanic, and in 26 years with Frito Lay, Inc. became their Chief Pilot and Director of Aviation. He left Frito Lay to join Bombardier Aerospace as one of the three founders of Flexjet, a fractional ownership program for business jets, where he served as president for five years and grew the company from ten employees and no customers to a business operating over 100 aircraft, flying an average of 225 trips per day, employing over 900 people, and serving more than 500 customers. In 2002 he retired from Flexjet and formed Jet Solutions L.L.C., the operator of the Perfect Jet flights.

Mr. Keith is one of the most respected members of the business aviation community. For six years he has served on the Advisory Rule Making Committees of the Federal Aviation Administration that develop and update rules for fractional ownership and charter operations. He is a past treasurer, member of the board of directors, and member of the executive committee of the National Business Aviation Association.
