National Women in Management President, Trish Peters, Welcomes New Board of Directors for the Near West Cook Chapter
Women In Management is a diverse organization dedicated to expanding the horizons of professional women in their chosen field.
The mission of Women in Management: is to promote the professionalism of our members through education, development, encouragement and mentoring; to promote the growth of our organization to bring these services to other women throughout the nation; and to encourage growth, networking and quality within our existing chapters.
(PRWEB) July 7, 2005 -- "At the Gallery" is hosting the National Women in Management Presidents Reception honoring the incoming Near West Cook Chapter Board of Directors.
Near West Cook Officers include: KL Robertson Daly, Chapter Past-President 2005-7 and National President-Elect 2005-6; Sue Wiggins Rose, Chapter President 2005-7;
Diane Whiston, Chapter Secretary ; Donna Kenyon, Chapter Vice President of Programs, 2004-2006 and National Treasurer 2005-2007; Cynthia Gibson, Chapter Treasurer; Barbara Donaldson Daly, Chapter Vice President of Awards; Carol Anderson, Chapter Vice President of Scholarships; Nancy Maczka, Chapter Vice President of Membership; Ildiko Kresz, Historian.
The event features an evening of networking for professional women from across Illinois and Indiana.
Trish Peters, National WIM President, will welcome members, guests and the new Near West Cook Chapter Officers with a congratulatory Champagne Toast. She will also provide a brief overview of the benefits of membership in Women in Management.
Membership in the Near West Cook Chapter of Women in Management is designed to empower women to network effectively and guide them through process of developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, while cultivating new opportunities for collaboration through a supportive exchange of ideas and resources.
Women managers, licensed professionals, business owners, and entrepreneurs are welcome to apply for WIM membership. The Reception will be held on July 20th from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. At the Gallery is located at 135 N. Lake St in Oak Park. Attendees will sip Champagne and nosh on Hors doeuveres, while perusing At the Gallerys collection of Contemporary-Ethnic Style Jewelry and premier fine art and fine craft.
