"Satires are difficult to do well, but The Empire Menaced: The Unauthorized Autobiography of Dearth Nadir succeeds more often than misses the mark."
--Donald Mitchell, Reviewer Ranked #3 on Amazon.com
"If you're a Star Wars fan, you should appreciate this book's alternate take on George Lucas's world and one of its leading characters, and even if you're not you still might get a chuckle and find some deep thoughts provoked at the same time. Definitely a worthy read."
--Brian Martin, Top 500 Amazon.com Reviewer
"I realize there are other wits out there taking well-deserved potshots at Star Wars. The difference between this book and others is one of scope--and sophistication. Whereas other parodies aim for broad comedy, The Empire Menaced uses OED inspired vocabulary to take us inside the head of the great Darth Vader."
--Jeffrey Leach, Top 50 Amazon.com Reviewer
The parody follows the entire story of all six Star Wars movies, including Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and corrects the Hollywood distortions. Find out:
| | - How "Kobe-San" and "Chi-Gong" really defeated "Dearth Mall"
- Who seduced whom: "Anykind" or "Mandala"
- "Anykinds" real parentage
- How "Anykind" actually became "Dearth Nadir"
- And much more.

The Empire Menaced is not a typical parody that takes broad and clumsy swipes at its target. Its a dark social satire where the Star Wars universe gets complicated as "Dearth Nadir" crosses the vast gaps of time and space to invade the Milky Way and possess the body of a man living among us. The best way to learn the truth is from the source.
Amazon.com has selected The Empire Menaced for its exclusive Best Value program. Paired with Chuck Palahniuks bestselling Haunted, the two titles are available together for an additional discount.
The Empire Menaced is also available from Ingram, Baker & Taylor, and local bookstores.
