iBetX Betting Exchange Championship 2005

iBetX.com, the international betting exchange, has announced the second annual betting exchange championships, which will start on the 10th July 2005. Online competition will determine the top betting exchange player.

London UK (PRWEB) July 6, 2005 - www.iBetX.com, the international betting exchange, has announced the second annual betting exchange championships, which will start on the 10th July 2005. The Championship will see punters from all over the world playing online for the title of Betting Exchange Champion, rewarded with a guaranteed minimum 12,000 prize purse.

The prestigious title of Betting Exchange Champion will go to the player with the largest bankroll generated from skillfully backing, laying or using a combination of both during the championships. For an entry fee of 20 every Competitor will start with a balance of 10,000 points in their account; the competitors aim is to make the largest profit to advance into the next round. At the beginning of each round the points for each competitor will be reset to 10,000 points and once again their aim will be to avoid elimination by making the largest profit. Competitors are allowed to back or lay, and their exposure limit for any given market is 2,000 points. Competitors are allowed to have unlimited multiple entries. The whole format of the competition will be exactly the same as you would see on iBetX.com (a typical betting exchange format). You will compete in the championships just as you would when using a betting exchange. The main difference is that competitors are not allowed to place unmatched bets into the market.

According to iBetXs Imraan Malik: The Betting Exchange Championships will truly reveal the identity of the top betting exchange user who would be for proving that he not only has the skill to win but the dedication and consistency required to be crowned champion."

This year's Championships will be scheduled over the course of 4 weeks with 2 one-day rounds, a rest period, followed by the grand final will take place over and entire weekend. Round One takes place on Sunday 10th July. The following tracks will be running on that day: - Haydock, Perth, and Stratford-On-Avon

Round Two takes place on Sunday 17th July and only the top 25% will advance form the first week to the second. The following tracks will be running on that day: - Newton Abbot, Redcar, and Stratford-On-Avon

We then have a rest period, with no competition for one week to allow the top 13% from the second round to gather their thoughts and prepare to do battle in the final round.

The final will take place over an entire weekend starting with Saturday 30th July where racing is scheduled at Doncaster, Goodwood, Hamilton, Lingfield, Newmarket, Thirsk and Sunday 31st July where racing is scheduled at Chester, Market Rasen, and Newbury.
