Stellavis Recording Artist Added FX will be releasing their debut CD ÂI AinÂt ReadyÂ on July 16th. The groups record label, Stellavis Records and representation, Posse Up Entertainment will be hosting the CD release events at the Pit Cleveland at 9pm the same day. The Added FX record includes tracks co-written and produced by Chip Dixon of Detroit, Michigan who most recently worked on New Editions ÂOne LoveÂ album. American Idol season two top 10 finalist Charlie Grigsby also makes an appearance on ÂVibeÂ a track he co-wrote and performs with the group. Added FX had a hand at co-writing on each track with additional producing done by Jason Somrak of Independence.
Added FX is comprised of LakewoodÂs Donnie Cole age 22, WilloughbyÂs Billy West age 18, ClevelandÂs Jeremy Rath, 21 and Jay Rogers, 23. Formed in 2000 the group has had a variety of success over the years including opening for the pop group O-Town in 2002. More recently the group performed at last years International ChildrenÂs Games and the Miss Ohio State Pageant.
ÂI AinÂt ReadyÂ will be the first release for the Mentor based Stellavis Records. Stellavis is a division of Posse Up Entertainment a full service artist management and promotions firm. Posse Up Entertainment has been in business since early 2003 and opened their Cleveland branch in 2004. The label is releasing Looking Forward to YesterdayÂs debut record this fall and is in the midst of signing additional artist to round out their roster.
Album release events at The Pit will include an autograph signing and two performances by the group. In addition to Added FX a variety of talent from the northeast Ohio area will be performing at the release party. This will include Charlie Grigsby making one of his first appearances with his new material in the Cleveland area since his 2003 American Idol run. Charlie, who is signed to Citi-Boyz Entertainment Group, is releasing his debut EP on July 21st which can be pre-ordered at his official site. Up coming talent from Mentor, Jami Ross who will be backed by her band, will showcase her amazing vocals and great stage show. Jami is currently recording her debut album ÂFigure Me OutÂ in Canada and is looking at a fall release. Stellavis Records label mate Looking Forward to Yesterday will round out the evenings events with their high energy pop/punk sounds. Looking forward to Yesterday is working on their soon to be released EP and recently performed at the Green day and Sum 41 after parties.
Tickets for the all ages show can be purchased for $5 at the door the day of the event. The Pit is located at 4309 Lorain Avenue in Cleveland. The Pit is a non-alcoholic all ages concert venue that caters to local Cleveland bands as well as the occasional touring regional act.
