Santa Barbara Second Annual Million Dollar Home Raffle Sold Out
18,000 tickets were sold for $150 each raising $2.7 million for the non-profit Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum.
Santa Barbara, CA (PRWEB) July 8, 2005 -- Danny Scott, chairman of Santa Barbaras Million Dollar Home Raffle was on hand at the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum (SBCAF) call center as the 18,000 ticket was sold at 12:15 today July 6, 2005. The phone were ringing off the hook" observed Mr. Scott as word got out that we were nearly sold out. The last ticket purchase was made by Mr. Victor Gonzalez of Santa Barbara and we wish him and the other 17,999 ticket purchasers the best of luck and our appreciation for their support of the arts."
Mr. Gonzlalez was excited to be the owner of the 18,000 ticket and hopes that his good luck continues on to the final drawing held 2 p.m., July 30th at Santa Barbaras Alameda Park. In addition to the drawing for the 3 bedroom, 2 bath Santa Barbara home or the $1 million in cash an additional 180 cash prizes from $25,000 to $300 will be drawn.
Ticket sales were strong along the Central Coast and in Los Angeles as people entered in the hopes of winning a Santa Barbara Home or $1 million in cash.
