Sapien, a leading US provider of HR software services, and HRM Software Ltd., a UK-based developer of strategic HR software systems, have partnered to launch award winning HRM Connect in North America. Sapien will brand and localize the products for the US and Canadian markets as Sapien and offer two services, Sapien.HRMS Edition and Sapien.HCM Edition to be deployed via SapienÂs ASP Service Sapien.NET for on-demand, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for HRMS and Human Capital Management.
Over the next several months, the Sapien.HRMS Edition will be developed into a self-provisioning model for companies with less than 500 employees in addition to current on-demand and SaaS deployment methodologies for mid-market and larger organizations.
The service, which has been built from the ground up around web and workflow technologies, provides comprehensive support for critical HR management and planning activities, including robust HRMS with integrated succession planning and leadership development, competency/skills management, career and development planning, performance management, compensation planning, training administration, 360 & survey, recruitment, and integrated organizational charting. The platform offers truly integrated navigation, menus, workflow, query, search, roles, security, and configuration tools across all functional areas.
Nicholas Bolton, Managing Director of HRM Software comments, ÂWeÂre delighted to have won Sapien as a partner for HRM Connect, we are impressed with the experience and vision of Sapien's management team. He adds, ÂThe partnership is also good news for our customers, many of whom are global organizations. Together with existing partners in Europe and Asia/Pacific, weÂll be able to offer a more wide-reaching service.Â
David Rossi, Managing Partner, Sapien, says, ÂSapien.HRMS Edition allows us to address the key technical and functional needs of the HRMS mid-market with employee counts of 500-5,000. We believe the serviceÂs combination of ease of use, impressive functionality, flexibility and web-native architecture gives it a significant competitive edge over similar products in the market. WeÂre looking forward to working with HRM Software.Â
David goes on to say, ÂDeploying Sapien via our Sapien.NET service will allow customers to rapidly implement low-cost, high value hosted software services for a mix and match of HRMS and HCM functionality. We expect to be very successful in the mid-market and our overseas counterparts have been winning deals with larger organizations, so we expect to be involved in larger projects with more than 5,000 employees as well. With our upcoming self-provisioning module, built by Sapien, which weÂre coining as E-Provisioning, customers with less than 500 employees will be able to self-provision HRMSÂ
