Most HR technology managers are not skilled in marketing, communicating the value, and promoting their accomplishments even though HR service delivery depends on them and their work. On July 21, IHRIM is presenting a webinar, ÂItÂs Promotion Time: Internally Marketing Your HR Technology Solutions, with well-known presenters Al Walker of Towers Perrin and Jessa Kilgore from Scholastic. This highly interactive presentation is designed for those who are struggling to get their projects funded, to maintain team headcount, and maybe even to keep their jobs.
HR technology managers will find out how to reach the right audience in their organization, how to position their solutions, and how to overcome obstacles. The presenters will outline some simple steps that should be taken by HR technology teams to ensure that they stay properly positioned along with other HR functions, and keep the value in managementÂs eyes. HR technology products and services and their importance to different organizations will be discussed, and marketing methods, concepts, and tools will be presented. Presenters and attendees will share perceptions of HR technology solutions and tales from the frontline.
Attendees will be introduced to marketing concepts and approaches to enable them to sell their HR technology solutions to management. They will learn how to identify their audience (who they market to and who makes the decisions), and methods and tools to reach them. This webinar is important for any professional or manager who needs to promote HR technology in their organization  HRIS directors, managers, project managers, and analysts as well as HR generalists should attend.
