St. Paul, MN/July 11, 2005 -- Syspoint, an enterprise software provider to Global 5000 companies, today announced 2 new pricing models effective immediately for their Syspoint Virtual Compiler (SVC). This patent-pending solution saves customers compiler license fees by automating the process of outsourcing customer compiles to one of Syspoints dedicated compile facilities.
In response to customer requests, Syspoint has begun offering both True-Usage-Based pricing and a Portfolio-Based-Pricing model.
The True-Usage-Based pricing model is designed to help customers that use a particular compiler in an extremely limited fashion or very infrequently. This model allows the customer to pay for actual use: After paying an initial $500 set up fee (which will be waived for a limited time), the cost is $50 per compile. No strings attached. No term commitment.
Alternatively, Syspoint has also developed a Portfolio-Based-Pricing model for the small to mid-sized customers (up to 86 MSUs.) This model offers access to 100% of the Syspoint SVC inventory on an unlimited basis for their internal use for a single monthly fee. The following tiers are currently available:
Tier 1 0 to 9 MSUs - $ 850 per month
Tier 2 10 to 18 MSUs - $1,000 per month
Tier 3 19 to 36 MSUs - $1,600 per month
Tier 4 37 to 60 MSUs - $2,200 per month
Tier 5 61 to 86 MSUs - $2,500 per month
A typical customer with 4 compilers could save as much as 80% of the monthly cost of those compilers using Portfolio Based Pricing.
In this economic climate, customers arent buying the proposition of large upfront costs in return for eventual cost savings," says Steve Randazzo, Syspoints SVP Sales. We will continue to enhance our product offerings and pricing models to better address the concerns of our customers."
Syspoint offers software tools & services that help customers reduce monthly costs without risk, up-front costs or change to their existing software or processes. Syspoint 's most popular SVCs are helping reduce their costs for COBOL, Fortran and PL/1 compilers. C/C++ is currently in development and should be available soon.
