NTI Experiences Rapid Growth, Enhances School Services

NTI introduces ilean software and hires new insturctors.

Haverhill, MA (PRWEB) July 11, 2005 -- The Haverhill Campus of Northeast Technical Institute, an industry leading workforce training institute for over 20 years, has experienced rapid growth and has responded by improving and upgrading many of the schools student services. Through staff, technology, and the introduction of top programs that are in demand, NTI continues to meet the dynamic needs of its student body and graduates.

NTI has increased staff to provide a high level of one-on-one attention to meet our students educational needs. The students and instructors develop individualized learning plans to ensure success and apply crucial learning elements to help students excel in their respective training programs.

To further build upon the latest technology available to aid students in all aspects of their education, NTI has launched iLearn-NTI.com. iLearn is a robust, highly interactive software solution available at all NTI campus locations. It offers students numerous resources that fully integrate computer applications into the framework of the training program. Students are able to study, test, measure progress through frequent testing, and simulate real-world scenarios - all within the secure and self-contained iLearn training platform. Instructors guide students through the iLearn classroom and track how many hours they have spent on a subject, review simulations and lessons to identify weaknesses and strengths, and use all available resources to better understand and retain the course material.

By expanding learning technologies and individualized one-on-one attention from highly qualified instructors, the students utilize various learning methods to fully prepare them for their chosen career.

The benchmark for any school is the quality of their staff and NTI maintains the highest standards as shown with the recent hiring of the schools two newest instructors. Phillip Chevalier holds a Masters of Education from Lesley University and has a diverse background in the instruction of Math and Science. He also has University experience in curriculum design and development, assessment, and evaluations. Linda Parsons has over 30 years of teaching experience at Whittier Vocational Technical School and Lawrence High School with a teaching background in computer applications and healthcare.

NTI has also built upon the schools array of training programs by adding the Certified Patient Care Technician program. Graduates of this dynamic program will be certified in CPR, First Aid and Automatic Electronic Defibrillation. Students will also be eligible to take national certification exams to become certified as Phlebotomists, Patient Care Technicians and EKG Technicians.
