Denver (PRWEB) July 11, 2005
Affordable Residential Communities Inc., one of the largest owners and operators of manufactured home communities in the United States, today announced that Theresa Solano, formerly the Marketing/Promotion and Community Affairs Director for Telemundo/NBC in Denver, has joined the Company as Hispanic Marketing Manager for the West Coast.
At ARC, Solano is responsible for program development and outreach directly to Hispanics who are looking for affordable housing. This includes marketing initiatives, as well as coordinating in-community activities for ARC residents, such as English as a Second Language courses. Additionally, Solano is tasked with forging relationships with corporations and other influential groups who have interest in quality, affordable housing for Hispanics.
ÂARC is committed to building a better place to live for Hispanics in America today, said Mike Hernandez, Director of Hispanic Marketing for ARC. ÂWeÂve developed the programs to make quality housing accessible and affordable and now we are hiring the people that can let the community know and participate in our vision. TheresaÂs background, experience and passion is a fantastic addition toward driving our Hispanic outreach in the West.Â
Solano joins ARC after serving as Marketing/Promotion and Community Affairs Director for Telemundo/NBC in Denver. Prior to Telemundo, she held positions at Dimension Data Learning Solutions, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Excel Communications, KJMN and KMXA, as well as Univision. Solano received her education from the University of Northern Colorado, and currently serves on the board of Escuela Tlatelolco and the National Conference for Community & Justice board, as well as the Advisory board of CORE Magazine.
ÂI have worked for many companies focused on the Hispanic community, but ARC has established a true commitment, vision and passion for the market, said Solano. ÂFrom selling homes at their cost, accepting the Consulate Card, developing financing programs for people with no credit to launching English as a Second Language courses in their communities, ARC is one of the best options out there today for affordable housing, and IÂm pleased to work with them.Â
