Celebrity Sports Agent Glenn Toby and ABA Charlotte Krunk Join Forces
The Charlotte Krunk ABA basketball franchise has announced its alliance with Celebrity Sports Agent Glenn Toby CEO of Total Entertainment Athlete Management Inc. Mr. Toby will hold an undisclosed interest in the team, and, will act as VP of Operations, a post that will focus on business development for the Krunk.
(PRWEB) July 9, 2005 -- The Charlotte Krunk ABA basketball franchise has announced its alliance with Celebrity Sports Agent Glenn Toby CEO of Total Entertainment Athlete Management Inc. Mr. Toby will hold an undisclosed interest in the team, and, will act as VP of Operations, a post that will focus on business development for the Krunk. Mr. Hughes stated, "It's obvious why we would seek out a partner such as Mr. Toby, with the success he has had in sports and entertainment throughout his career.
Glenn Toby is also the Founder of The Book Bank Foundation Inc. a literacy program that utilizes creative resources in order to get young men and women excited about reading and thinking. Since its creation, The Book Bank Foundation has influenced the lives of over 100,000 children nationwide. Toby's foundation also has an annual holiday clothing drive at Americas oldest homeless shelter The Bowery Mission in New York City.

Duane Hughes stated: As a single parent, I understand how hard it can be for people to make ends meet. Our children usually have to suffer from due to a lack of resources. I want to help minimize that "lack of" syndrome, through this fine foundation that Mr. Toby has established. I am now truly blessed to have a basketball franchise, from which I can use as a platform, to have a positive effect on others lives.
Hughes said: "That's a Blessing and a responsibility I take very seriously. We will donate portions of the money raised during this season, through the Book Bank Foundation Inc., to help alleviate parents in the Charlotte North Carolina and surrounding communities, from not having enough of what their kids need to get good grades in school. Whether it be books, decent clothes, or what have you. I will be enlisting others who also are more fortunate, to join me in reaching towards those who have less as well. The Charlotte community will understand that we truly are 'their team' by our heartfelt dedication to this commitment we are announcing today."
