Masai A450 Road Legal ATV Launched

The new Masai A300 & A450 road legal quad bikes were launched at the French Transvalquad show this week.

(PRWEB) July 10, 2005 -- The new Masai A300 & A450 Adventure models were launched this week at the Transvalquad show in France -- the largest ATV show in Europe.

These two quads are SUV style, which sit between utility and sport models, for those who require some practicality without sacrificing design or performance. Both models are fully Euro-2 homologated for road use.

The A450 is a powerful liquid-cooled machine, with an impressive output of 45hp in derestricted form. It features dual disc brakes at the front, with single disc at the rear, and is fitted with a 5 speed manual gearbox with reverse. There are two lockable storage pods on the rear mudguards, and a rack is fitted as standard (not on the show model pictured). The RRP is a very competitive 4595.

The A300 is also liquid cooled, and generates 18hp. This power is fed through a fully automatic CVT gearbox, which also features a reverse gear. Just like its bigger brother, it has dual disc brakes at the front, with single disc at the rear, and a carry rack fitted as standard. The RRP for this model is just 2895.

These new Adventure models will be available in the UK from authorized Masai dealers in August.
