MyPhotopipe.com Enters Online Digital Photo Processing With Webs Fastest Uploader and Only No Sign-up Photo Sharing.

Myphotopipe.com introduces the web's newest online service to convert digital photographs into film quality prints.

Atlanta, GA. (PRWEB) July 11, 2005 -- Executives from myphotopipe.com today announced the launch of a new Internet service designed to make online ordering of prints and online sharing of digital photos easier and faster at prices that start at 19 cents.

The first generation of online photo processors focused on gifts and gathering names," said CEO L. Douglas Keeney. Thats not us. Our research showed us that people hated to sign up just to see shared pictures, that the uploaders were too complex and that in the end most people wanted higher quality prints on better papers at better prices. In a nutshell thats what the pipe offers."

Mr. Keeney and his partner, David Ragland, were CEO and Chairman respectively of US Wireless Online, Inc., an early start-up in Wi-Fi and wireless broadband and now the nations largest and most successful wireless high speed Internet access network. They started myphotopipe.com after noticing the growing number of high quality digital images moving over their network lines. In March, they acquired a controlling interest in Color Genesis, an old-line high-end photo processor started by Pete Casabonne in Atlanta and began building the web interface with Canadian designer Alan Bagshaw of Digital Art Reproductions.

We got rid of sign-ups and personal data," said Mr. Ragland. Its such a turn off. Instead, we made it even easier for friends to share with friends without joining myphotopipe.com at all. We know why the other sites want to collect personal data; thats fine. Were ready to give up a little revenue to make the experience better for our customers."

Myphotopipe.com charges 19 cents for a basic 4X6 print, a price that is often discounted to between 16 and 17 cents during various promotions. Theres a big difference between a 12-cent print and a quality print," said Keeney. Its like the difference between a generic soda versus a branded soda. We know what it costs to use high-end papers but we want to offer products that will last a lifetime."

Over the new several weeks the management teams will roll-out several innovative new products and enhancements. Were known for the unexpected; the things to come will be no exception," said Ragland.
