Piedmont Healthcare, a multi-hospital system in Georgia, has signed an agreement to implement FrontiersÂ, eko systems, inc's perioperative clinical information management system in its 34 OR's, Pre-Op Clinic, and Pre-Op Holding areas. In addition to the FrontiersÂ Perioperative Clinical Information Management System, Piedmont will implement eko systems' Patient TrakÂ Solution. Patient TrakÂ is an automated patient tracking system that identifies the status of surgical patients from Pre-Op Holding through PACU with "real time" information.
FrontiersÂ is a completely integrated clinical information management solution that covers the entire spectrum of perioperative care (pre-operative clinic, pre-operative holding, operating room, post anesthesia recovery room and post-operative rounds). The system was developed by clinicians and a team of engineers to meet the challenging needs of a "top 100" medical center.
