Persecution Blog Calls Attention to Plight of Persecuted Christians Around the World

Christian ministry Voice of the Martyrs has begun a blog to share news and information about Christian persecution around the globe. The purpose of the blog is to call attention to the plight of Christians who are being persecuted for their faith.

Christian non-profit ministry Voice of the Martyrs (VOM), in partnership with marketing agency Web Direct Advertising, has started a blog focused on the plight of Christians across the globe who are being persecuted for their faith.

Called the Persecution Blog (www.persecutionblog.com), the web log provides daily updated news and information about persecuted Christians in countries such as Egypt, Pakistan, and China. It also attempts to focus the attention of Christians in the US and abroad on the peril fellow believers face daily in many third-world countries.

"We hope the Persecution Blog will become the central online point for the expression of ideas about the persecuted church," said Todd Nettleton, Director of News Services for Voice of the Martyrs. He added, As so many are thinking, writing, reading and learning about the persecuted church, we believe the natural outflow will be to pray more often and more fervently, and to seek ways of blessing our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world."
