The online auction siteÂ?s unique program is attractive to sellers because listings are free. TWay.com believes free listings will lead to rapid growth.

– Tway.com, an internet auction site that offers a number of benefits not offered by EBay, announced today that it will continue its policy of free listings, at least for the foreseeable future.

TWay.com officials said they continue to believe that a policy of free listings and low commission rates will help continue TWay.com’s rapid growth.

“We’ve looked closely at our model, and we’ve decided that our current pricing policies are driving TWay.com’s growth in the manner that we intended,” said Dean Burnetti, TWay.com’s president. “Our customers tell us that the free listings are a major motivator in their use of TWay.com, so we don’t plan any changes in that pricing structure at this point.”

TWay.com offers an attractive alternative to EBay’s significantly higher pricing structure: No listing fees and commissions significantly lower than EBay’s.

“Our customers tell us that our more reasonable pricing makes us a very attractive alternative to EBay,” Burnetti said. “We are especially attractive to repeat sellers of products – those listing fees can really add up in a hurry for those kinds of sellers.”

While EBay’s success is undeniable, Burnetti said buyers as well as sellers are open to alternatives that offer better service, more competitive rates, new innovations and a more significant fun factor.

“Those are the factors we kept in mind when we designed TWay.com, and we feel that responding to what we perceived as the public’s desires is what got TWay.com off to such a good start,” Burnetti said. “We feel that a change in our pricing structure would not be in TWay.com’s best interest at this point.”

Besides traditional online buying and selling, TWay.com offers buyers and sellers interactive auctions and negotiation forums. Sellers can create marketing plans using three different methods of sale: “Auction”, “For Sale” and “Live Negotiation,” all in the same sales plan.

In the future, TWay.com will offer shops or storefronts where entrepreneurs can create their own TWay.com partnership businesses.
