Free Seminar Teaches Top Athletes, Coaches and Parents of Athletes to use SportPsychology, Self-Hypnosis and Dreams to Improve Focus, Confidence and Performance

This seminar will show athletes, coaches and parents of athletes how to use sport psychology, hypnosis and dreams to improve their motivation, relaxation, focus and performance.

(PRWEB) July 14, 2005 -- New York-Top athletes, coaches and parents of competitive athletes are invited to a training seminar on sport psychology, sports hypnosis, motivation and how to use their dreams to perform to their fullest potential.

This three hour seminar will be held in New York City on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 9 a.m.

The program is open to athletes from the following sports: golf, tennis, baseball, basketball, football, track, bowling, martial arts, soccer, skiing, boxing, billiards and swimming.

The program will be conducted by Jay P. Granat, Ph.D., a psychotherapist and founder of StayInTheZone.com, who has been counseling athletes for more than 20 years. He has developed several self-help products for athletes that can be viewed at StayInTheZone.com He also writes a weekly self-help column.

Granat has been featured in Golf Digest, ESPN Magazine, ESPN Radio, The Golf Channel and The Newark Star Ledger. Granat has also written and lectured extensively on sports, sport psychology and self-help.

He works closely with world class athletes and weekend warriors from a variety of sports including golf, tennis, baseball, basketball, soccer, the martial arts, bowling, fencing, billiards, swimming, skating and boxing.

Dr. Granat received his graduate training at The University of Michigan. His undergraduate training was completed at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has been a university professor at Fairliegh Dickinson University. Dr. Granat welcomes inquiries from coaches, athletes and parents of athletes.
