Dr. Yacoub Elziq, an Electronic Design and Automation Entrepreneur, has joined MatrixViewÂs Scientific Advisory Board while Mr. David James van Eck, former Director of Health Industries, Oracle Corporation, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of MatrixView Healthcare, a wholly owned subsidiary of MatrixView Limited.

Dr. Yacoub Elziq has a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Utah State University and currently consults for Sun Microsystems in the US. With over 25 years of industrial and academic experience in Electronic Design and Automation, Dr. Elziq presently teaches graduate courses in the Electrical and Computer Engineering departments in SoC (system on a chip) and Database Design at the University of Santa Clara. Dr. Elziq is a Founder and a member of the startup companies XCAT and Vertex, and has held various R&D engineering and management positions in computer ASIC and SoC firms such as Honeywell, Synopsys, Toshiba, Unisys and VLSI Technologies.

Mr. van Eck has been working for and in partnership with the international healthcare industry for 20 years. His in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry throughout Asia-Pacific, and experience in working with US/European-based blue-chip corporations, gives him a strong knowledge of healthcare strategy and business development in the region.
