Mission China: On the Road to Emperor

Follow an American entrepreneurs blog as he sets out to conquer China

(PRWEB) July 14, 2005 -- Most small business owners find the idea of expanding into China too daunting a task to consider. Of the relatively few who have pursued the notion, only a finite number have actually traveled to the behemoth nation to realize their vision. Mark Stevens is one of those entrepreneurs whose dream of opening a China shop squelches any apprehension or obstacles. To encourage other entrepreneurs and small business owners to pursue that goal, Stevens, author of "Your Marketing Sucks." and CEO of MSCO, Inc., a marketing advisory, has launched a new blog "Mission: China" at his companys website www.msco.com.

The blog, which is updated often, follows Stevens on his trip through Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai (July 10-18), where he embarks on a whirlwind weeklong tour of high-level business meetings, seminars and television appearances throughout the Republic, meeting with important leaders in China's business, media and academic communities. Throughout his journey, Stevens documents his thoughts, emotions and first impressions. The blog also provides a retrospective from other members of the MSCO team regarding the intense planning that went into the trip and offers real advice and first-hand insights.
