TAGSYS Selects Stacy Betts to Lead U.S. Library Market Growth
Industry veteran brings extensive library management systems experience to leading item-level RFID infrastructure provider
Doylestown, PA - July 13, 2005 --TAGSYS (www.tagsysrfid.com), the global leader in item-level RFID infrastructure, announced today the appointment of seasoned library management systems industry sales executive, Stacy Betts, to help the company expand its leadership in the growing library sector. In his role as senior sales manager at TAGSYS, Betts will be tasked with driving the companys U.S. sales and business development strategy.
Inventory management in libraries has traditionally been time consuming and replete with inefficiencies. TAGSYS item-level RFID solutions deliver cost savings and improved customer service through the automation of labor-intensive processes and enabling collection visibility. The company will cull from Bettss extensive professional experience as it strives to help customers minimize the inventory tracking pain points of library systems.

Betts will execute on the companys sales roadmap for the highly specialized library market. He brings over a decade of experience working in the library management systems space. Prior to joining TAGSYS, Betts spent nine years at Dynix as senior sales manager where he was responsible for heading up a sales territory and team that generated $5 million +in annual sales revenues from both the government and private market sector. In addition he served as an applications/support specialist at the company where he developed and implemented training programs for the corporate sales force and existing clients in 43 countries and eight offices worldwide. Betts graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
