EVTV1 and Vidsense Ink Rep Deal With Broadband Enterprises

Penn Media has announced an agreement with advertising rep firm, Broadband Enterprises, for exclusive representation to place commercials on its video properties. The deal includes all video commercials that introduce content clips both on its video portal, EVTV1.com and the newly announced Vidsense program.

Mokena, IL (PRWEB) July 14, 2005 -- Penn Media announced today an agreement with advertising rep firm, Broadband Enterprises for exclusive representation to place commercials on its video properties. The deal includes all video commercials that introduce content clips both on its video portal, EVTV1.com and the newly announced Vidsense program.

Penn Medias VP of advertising, Jeanie Davis said, Although we sell advertising within our own e-zines, we felt that it was important to strike a deal with a company that specializes in the video area for our video properties. After an exhaustive search, we are very glad to come to agreement with Broadband Enterprises. Their energy and passion for selling broadband advertising made them go to the top of the list."

Penn Media has been in beta on its video portal EVTV1.com since June of last year. There are 11 different content channels that have 60-90 second video clips, each preceded by a 15 second video commercial. In addition to the video portal, the deal with Broadband Enterprises also extends to the Vidsense program announced earlier this month.

Vidsense is a content and revenue program to video enable websites. By placing a single line of code to a site, content that matches the sites content will be streamed by EVTV1 and revenues shared. Davis continued, The deal with Broadband Enterprises will bring a steady flow of revenue for the partner sites within the Vidsense network."

Broadband Enterprises SVP of Operations, Bryon Evje said, We are proud to add EVTV1 and Vidsense to our growing list of publishers. The type of legacy content that they offer is unique and we are sure the advertisers will welcome these new eyeballs. We look forward to a long and exciting relationship as the industry moves toward maturation."
