ZK Mortgage launches 'Help our Heroes Program to make it easier for teachers, police officer, firefighters and medical workers to buy homes.

(PRWEB) July 16, 2005 -- ZK Mortgage, the only Texas-based mortgage broker that matches borrowers with the specific financial instruments best suited for their needs, today announced a new mortgage program that can make it easier for teachers, law enforcement, firefighters, and medical workers who have little or no funds for down payments and closing costs to become homeowners.

The program that ZK Mortgage is offering allows for little or no down payment, flexible credit guidelines for easier qualification, no income limitations, and conventional rates.

The job requirements for the Helping our Heroes Program are:

Teacher
*   Full-time employee at the primary, secondary or university level at a public or private school. Includes school employees in any capacity, including teacher, professor, administrator, librarian, counselor, administrative support and custodial staff.

Police
*   Any full-time member of a police department, sheriffs office, corrections department or law enforcement agency who is responsible for the prevention and detection of crime, the enforcement of penal, traffic or highway laws or the incarceration or detention of offenders. Correction or other law enforcement officers must be involved in a program administered by the federal, state or county government.

Firefighter
*   Any full-time employee of a local, state or federal fire department or agency that is responsible for at least one of the following: fire suppression, emergency medical response and patient care, fire and injury prevention, arson investigation, hazardous materials incident response and management or response to acts of terrorism, including Department of Homeland Security.

Medical Worker
*   Full-time healthcare employee, including RN, LPN, LVN, CAN, Physicians Assistant, Medical Technician, Technologist, Therapist, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Assistant, Medical Resident, Physician, Fellow, Dentist, Oral Surgeon
