The International School of Hospitality proudly announces the launch of a Meeting Planning Certificate program and an Event Management Certificate program. Both programs feature 72 hours of instruction in a hybrid format. An internship is a required component.
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) July 20, 2005 -- The International School of Hospitality (TISOH), a subsidiary of Hospitality Experts Consortium, LLC, is pleased to announce the launch of a Meeting Planning Certificate program and an Event Management Certificate program.
The programs are 72 classroom hours in length and designed for completion in 3 months. An internship is a required component. Both programs share a core curriculum featuring modules in finance, food & beverage, legal/risk, marketing, vendor and career management. Additionally each program features detailed logistical management modules specific to each industry.
The instructors for both programs possess advanced degrees or professional certifications. All have significant industry experience.
Both programs will be of a hybrid nature, with classroom as well as web-based online instruction. The first class commences in October 2005. In early 2006, both programs will be offered separately as online courses as well as in hybrid form.
The International School of Hospitality, licensed by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education, is dedicated to training individuals for careers in hospitality-related industries. TISOHs short, career specific courses are suitable for new entrants to the industry as well as for established veterans to hone their skills. In 2006, the School will present offerings in front desk management, housekeeping supervision, concierge services, beverage management, purchasing & procurement and others. With classes offered both online as well as in a hybrid classroom and online format, the School reaches students all over the world.
As the Schools instructors are all professionals with specific expertise, TISOH will also offer seminars and courses addressing current issues in hospitality. Customized industry training programs will be available.
