(PRWEB) July 16, 2005 -- The second Annual Rockwell Crossing Artwalk is to take place on 9/10/05 from 10 am - 5 pm in the lovely area of Lincoln Square known as "Rockwell Crossing." The raindate will be Sunday, September 11th.
The free event is organized by event founder, Victoria Ikpoh, and will include all types of arts & crafts.
Frustrated with commercial art events with restrictive media formats and high entry fees, creator Victoria Ikpoh, owner of ADORN Handmade Jewelry & LOTIONS & POTIONS, a vegan body care line, started this show to create an event that brought community and artists together in a relaxed, friendly environment. By keeping the entry fee low for artists and allowing all types of media in this event, last year's show was an extreme success. Artists & crafters alike are brought together and are able to display their wares and get exposure that is unlike any other event around.
The crossing of Lincoln Square is one of the few places in Chicago where the El-Tracks" meet street level. A quaint little part of Lincoln Square, the Artwalk takes place on a tree lined street with shops and restaurants. Make sure to mark your calendars to come out and show your support to the local artists & "DIY-ers" of Chicago.
Arts & Crafts included, Paintings, Photography, Jewelry, Ceramics, Knitted Goods, Handmade Body Products, Sculpture, Mixed Media Pieces & More.
