Cyber Tracker To Address Sea Port Security; Public Safety

Real-time GPS device will provide peace of mind for citizens.

Asheville, NC (PRWEB) July 19, 2005 -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (HISC) will begin delivering its Cyber Tracker GPS device to customers this fall, and already demand for the device is beyond expectations. The company began taking pre-orders for the Cyber Tracker earlier this year, and orders are stronger than the company anticipated.

The Cyber Tracker is a portable family detection device designed to provide real-time GPS tracking of vehicles, people or other mobile or movable objects. Its convenient rugged design (5" x 5" x 1") makes it applicable in a variety of situations where it is necessary to know an exact location of a person or object. It also features an extended battery life.

"The applications for the Cyber Tracker are almost limitless," said Frank Moody, CEO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. "We originally designed it for sea port security, but as we tested the device, we realized the Cyber Tracker has a multitude of uses in the private sector."

With the features of real-time tracking, and the ability to monitor the speed and whereabouts of a person, vehicle or asset, the Cyber Tracker will be a valuable tool for parents, school systems, law enforcement; just about anywhere tracking capabilities are required.

Other features include "Geo-fencing" a characteristic of the Cyber Tracker. The Cyber Tracker allows the administrator to define specific areas that can be determined as "off limits" and as such will trigger alarms if the assigned Cyber Tracker enters the defined space. The reverse can also be used by "fencing" a vehicle or asset inside a defined area. It is also capable of providing position reports at predetermined intervals ranging from seconds to hours.

The alarming system can notify the individual monitoring the computer screen by an audible alarm or a variety of other short or long distance calls to any land line phone, cell phone or pager. The Cyber Tracker wirelessly transmits its information and data over a variety of networks. Remote monitoring from multiple locations simultaneously is also available.

Pre-orders for the device are still being taken at www.hissusa.com/store/index.php.
