GAX Launches Sikoba", a Hosted Knowledge Base
GAX has launched its Sikoba service accessible via www.sikoba.com. Sikoba is a knowledge base that is truly simple to use, yet very powerful. Available as a hosted service, Sikoba does not require any software installation.
Luxembourg (PRWEB) July 23, 2005 -- GAX S.A., the Luxembourg IT company, announced that its Sikoba knowledge base has been launched.
Priced at € 4.50 per user per month, Sikoba was designed to be extremely simple to use. As there is no learning curve, its use can thus be easily integrated into existing work habits. The basic philosphy is: „Just dump your data into Sikoba and forget about it. Sikoba will make sure you will find it when needed.
Sikoba can be used in many situations. An individual could use it as a repository of unstructured data. A project team could use it as an ad hoc tool to share information and files. Sikoba can even be used as a company-wide information repository when there is no time to set up a structured knowledge base, or when management encounters resistance in the use of complex tools.

Sikoba has been developed in partnership with Naxoft (http://www.naxoft.com), editors of NaX Base. The use of NaX Base, a native XML database, allows Sikoba to quickly search through very large data sets.
