Daysgeneralstore.com will donate 10 percent of all purchases made from August 1, 2005 and September 5, 2005 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. A check for no less than $1,000 will be presented to MDA late in the afternoon on September 5, 2005.

Ralph Day, Proprietor of Daysgeneralstore.com announced today that from August 1, 2005, through September 5, 2005, 10 percent of all purchases made on the website will be donated to The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation. A check will be given during the live local feed in Palm Springs on Labor Day, September 5.

Every year on Labor Day Weekend, Jerry Lewis spends the weekend soliciting donations from the public for “his kids”. Daysgeneralstore.com is hoping to be able to contribute at least $1,000.

“The main reason for developing the website was so I could give to my community and certain targeted charities. It’s a real honor for me to contribute to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation,” said Mr. Day. “Jerry Lewis has been hosting this telethon for so many years, and I just want to make a small contribution as my way of acknowledging his years of devotion to this cause.”

Daysgeneralstore.com is a general store featuring fresh fruit, cheesecakes, business supplies, gift items, home and garden products, self defense weapons and home security products.
