EAGAN, Minn. (PRWEB) July 22, 2005 -
Davy Jones, former member of The Monkees, tops a line-up of six bands scheduled to perform at Septemberfest, an outdoor festival to be held Friday, Sept. 23, through Sunday, Sept. 25 in Eagan, Minn. The second annual end-of-summer/start-of-autumn block party and carnival is hosted by EaganÂs Faithful Shepherd Catholic School and Tri-Parish Center.
ÂDavy Jones brings our annual festival its first internationally recognized performer and an icon of Baby Boomers who call the suburbs home, said Septemberfest chair, Brian Howard. ÂAlong with Davy Jones, our celebration will offer fun-seekers of all ages music and carnival entertainment in a small, festive venue. The combination of daytime family games and rides, great food and beverages and evening concerts for our townÂs rock-and-roll fans, help make Septemberfest ÂThe Biggest Little Block Party in the Burbs.ÂÂ
