Italian Style on Show in Berlin

The prestigious Philip Johnson Building on Friederichstrasse, near Checkpoint Charlie, will host the Iris Ceramica and Iris Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti Berlin showroom.

(PRWEB) July 24, 2005 -- This exhibition project, inaugurated in Summer 2003, is the result of a partnership between the Iris group and Fliesen-Zentrum, a leading name in the distribution of ceramic products in Germany and a daily point of call for a vast clientele demanding a wide range, quality and service.

The exhibition is organised around the concept of well-being in the home environment and in commercial, professional hospitality and work spaces.

Different exhibition paths point professional and private clients to ad-hoc exhibition areas, which set materials in a framework that bears in mind the different perspectives of those who design environments and those who live in them.

A large area is dedicated to bathroom design, and has been created using furnishings and accessories by the designers Antonio Lupi and Arne Jacobsen, who bring their language of modernist functionality and formal sobriety.

This is a choice that highlights the innovative material and stylistic sophistication of the surfaces on show, chosen from Iris Ceramica's leading brands, such as Metal Line, Petra Aeterna, Naturgress and Bottega d'Arte, and Iris FMG's technological stones.
