Singer/Songwriter and guitarist Mickael Maddison releases his debut CD "Free". Mickael effectively blends elements of classic rock, alternative, and country with a solid modern edge.

Mickael Maddison's much anticipated CD release titled “Free” was officially released as of July 20th, 2005. Featuring talented musicans such as James Lipoth, Dan and Ken Hum, Monica Sia, and The Budweiser Boys Tabernacle Choir, the six song EP effectively blends elements of “classic rock”, “alternative”, and “country rock” with a solid modern edge.

“Free”, titled after the lead track “When I'm Free”, is Mickael's first CD release. “This EP explores and captures some key moments of my life,” says singer, guitarist and songwriter Mickael Maddison. “Songs like “When I'm Free” and “Drink”, these are stories people relate to.”

His music has been attracting attention since well before the CD was completed, gaining Mickael a spotlight featuring an interview complete with the airing of 3 songs on 'The River' 97.5FM (http://www.ckrv.com) and airplay on the Thompson Rivers University station 'The X' 92.5FM (http://www.thex.ca). The song “Drink” was selected as the background sound for a yet to be released trailer regarding the Merrit Mural Project.

The EP which was recorded, produced and mastered by James Lipoth (http://www.JamesLipoth.com), is intended to “clear the air” and make way for his more recent works. The enhanced CD contains the tracks “When I'm Free”, “Drink”, “In Her Eyes”, “Blowing In The Wind”, “Castle On A Cloud” and “Friend”. The CD also contains his first two music video's, complete song lyrics, photo's and a bio.

When pressed, Mickael Maddison, known worldwide as the President and founder of SilverServers Inc. (http://www.SilverServers.com) and for his often controversial personal blog (http://www.picotalk.com), says that he doesn't currently have plans to tour. “I'm preparing to start phase 2 of the recording project,” Says Mickael. “I'm going back to the studio to begin recording my second CD. There's a lot of music I need to get off my chest.”
