DomainMart is beta testing its CallVendor Link, a technology that allows web users to automatically call a vendors appropriate contact phone number with a click.

Berkeley, CA (PRWEB) July 25, 2005 -- DomainMart, a leading provider of domain-name analytical and quantitative services, today announced the beta testing of its CallVendor Link, a proprietary technology that allows web users to automatically call a vendor's appropriate contact phone number with a click.

The Link technology embeds an appropriate contact number of a participating vendor in a link with automatic nationwide free dialing capabilities. When a web user clicks from any website on a vendor's Link for the first time, the user is prompted to provide a phone number to initiate an automated call to the vendor. Then the next time the user clicks on a vendor's link, it automatically dials the user's previously specified number. A user's phone number, for obvious security reasons, is stored only on the user's computer. The vendor, at no time, has access to a user's phone number.

The value of the technology to a customer comes from a free service that facilitates live phone conversations with vendors, makes it easier for an Internet user to save and retrieve the appropriate contact information, and eliminates a user's need to visit each site to search for and collect the phone numbers (while potentially dialing incorrect numbers, and misplacing them).

The technology uses a 3-way VOIP telephony technology.
