Soldiers Send in Love Letters for New Talk Radio Show

On September 11th, 'Ready for Romance,' a new talk radio show hosted by Lori Soard on Sundays at 10 p.m., will air love letters from soldiers to their families. For details visit www.readyforromancehour.com

(PRWEB) July 25, 2005 -- "Ready for Romance" is a new talk radio show that airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. EST. Romance writer Lori Soard has turned her skills with the written word into fun with the spoken word. Join her for all things romantic.

"When I saw that one of the shows fell on Sept. 11th, I wanted to do something special to honor soldiers present and past who have done so much to make sure we have the freedoms we enjoy in the U.S.," said Soard. "Because of other work I've done with divasofromance dot com and other groups I'm involved in, I know that many of the men and women over there miss their families terribly."

Soard came up with the idea of having soldiers send in love letters for their wives, husbands, sweeties, and children. She will read as many as possible in her one hour on the air, and families can listen in to hear a message from their soldier.

"I hope this will show the soldiers and their families how much we all appreciate their sacrifice. They are truly the glue that holds liberty and justice for all together."

Lori Soard has been writing for more than ten years as a full-time professional writer. Her latest book, "The Elixir," is a suspense that is receiving rave reviews. It is available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble as well as through her publisher Amber Quill Press.

Lori runs two promotional groups for writers, Divas of Romance, and All Star Scribes. "Ready for Romance" is her concept for a radio talk show about all things romantic.

"What would life be without a little romance? It brightens things up and reminds us why we fell in love with him in the first place."
