New perfume company creates designer scent for poker players.

Key West Marketing Group Inc., a once-thriving import-export business of perfumes, faced a significant loss in revenue and direction after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack, the corporate scandals of the early 2000s, and the resulting weakness of the US dollar against the Euro dollar.

Sheldon Greenbaum, President of KWMGI, researched other business opportunities throughout 2003 and 2004 and decided to return to the perfume industry full force. The problems associated with IMPEX, i.e. currency exchange fluctuations, geo political problems, and always relying on other companies delivering on their promises had to be solved. Welcome American Prestige & Luxury Brands LLC, the company Greenbaum formed in January 2005 to manufacture designer brand name perfumes.

To stay in touch with the consumer market, the idea for "Poker Player" men’s cologne was born. Made in the USA, (excluding the bottle), this top-quality poker-themed perfume is turning heads every where it is displayed.

"There is so much interest and excitement it gives me the chills," Greenbaum says. “We are going to sell tons of this item, because we are the first poker themed cologne to reach the market. "This is a not a hokey cologne or a novelty. Men are going to wear this and buy it again the scent was chosen in consumer focus groups 7 out of 10, this is a real top quality long lasting product," Greenbaum continues. "I have interest from distributors all over the world that this is going to explode; poker is red hot in every developed country not just the USA."

American Prestige & Luxury Brands LLC has developed and produced three niche products within only six months. The company is working exclusively with designer Alexander Da Costa, an artist and photographer with impeccable taste and great ideas.

"Because we are a small efficient company we can bring a product to market faster then anyone else in this industry," Greenbaum says. "When we receive orders from chain stores I do not have to call the manufacturer or distributor for permission and availability, I can just reach out and shake the buyers hand and tell him I can deliver in 8 weeks, how many pieces do you need."

"My goal is to raise seed money now by selling a minority share of the company, in order to purchase machinery to fill the bottles ourselves, to begin some smart promotion campaigns, and to launch new products," Greenbaum continues. "I have 8 solid design themes, all excellent products; I want to launch them as soon as possible. I envision taking this company public in the next 24 moths, this is my ultimate goal. Merchandise is already being sold and shipped, however American Prestige & Luxury Brands, LLC, will officially launch the Alexander DaCosta line of fragrances, "Poker Player™," "Que Linda™," and "Nobile Royalty™" at the ASD/AMD Merchandise Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, in August 2005.
