Two upcoming book reading / book signings feature A THICK SLAB OF POPPY SEED BREAD. Author Rhonda Adamson hosts in Spring Valley and Utica, Illinois.
DALZELL, Ill. (PRWEB) July 31, 2005 -- Poppy seed bread provides a metaphor for Rhonda Adamson's poetry and prose. Rhonda Adamson, author of A Thick Slab Of Poppy Seed Bread, will host a book reading / book signing on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 from 4 to 5:30 pm at the Richard Mautino Library (215 E Cleveland Street, Spring Valley, IL).
On Sunday, August 14, 2005 from 4 to 5 pm, Common Grounds BookCafe (723 S. Clark Street, Utica, IL, 815-667-4203) will host another book reading/signing. Various baked breads will be served.
Starting life as a nomadic "army brat", Rhonda lived in Arkansas, Massachusetts, Naples, Italy, Augsburg and Berlin, Germany, North Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, plus three cities in Illinois. She currently lives in Dalzell.
Publish America released her book on June 25, 2005. Her book explores freedom, motherhood, and nature.
