Jacob states, "Even though we predict hyper growth in online sales, e-commerce is still in its infancy. Therefore, I believe the only thing that could possibly derail online sales in the short term for 2005 would be a major scare such as a Massive Identity Theft." While Jacob does not see this happening, he states, "Unfortunately it is always a possibility."
