Bryn Mawr, PA (PRWEB) July 28, 2005 -- An announcement made Friday at The National LTC Networks Associate Conference in Chicago, Illinois teams the National LTC Network with The American College in offering The College developed seminar "Fundamentals of Marketing Long-Term Care Insurance" to those associated with the Network.

The two-day seminar is hosted around the country by moderators who are experienced long term care insurance professionals. The first seminars are slated to begin in early fall.

The purpose of the seminar is to help participants quickly learn to identify and approach prospects, build rapport, handle objections, and close sales. The program also provides them with basic product knowledge. Upon completion each person will receive a certificate from The American College acknowledging that they have completed this seminar. Participants who wish to take a brief assessment may qualify for state CE credit.

The course and moderator materials for the seminar are produced by The College. The moderators being selected to lead the seminar will be chosen because of their vast knowledge in the field, their enjoyment of teaching and facilitating discussion, ethical practices, and successful track record for selling long-term care insurance. Each moderator will be trained before hand by professors from The College.

"One of the National LTC Networks primary objectives is to provide quality long-term care education for our Associates producers," said Terry Truesdell, President and CEO of the Network. "We believe this partnership with the insurance industrys most formidable educator helps us in our efforts to achieve that goal."

The National LTC Network celebrated its tenth anniversary last year. This non-profit organization is dedicated to improving the design, distribution and marketing of private long term care insurance and the quality of long term care education for the benefit of the consumer and the producer.
