"Each year thousands of home schoolers from across the state descend on the Houston area for the state home school conference in preparation for back-to-school," says Tim Lambert, president of the THSC. "It's an opportunity to connect with other families, explore new curriculum choices, and get mentally prepared for the year ahead."

From those who are merely considering supplementing their children's education to veterans of the home school experience who are now preparing for the college years, THSC will provide a wealth of information to cross the entire spectrum of homeschooling families. The conference features a Support Group Expo, Children’s Program, and Teen Staff Program in addition to traditional conference offerings of keynote speakers and celebrity guests.

The annual event provides an ideal opportunity for anyone considering or pursuing homeschooling to access the variety of home school choices and resources available in one convenient location.
