Jewish Organization Releases New Film on Sephardic Life
The International Society for Sephardic Progress has just released new documentary in Ladino and English entitled 'Glimpses of Sephardic Life'.

ORLANDO (PRWEB) July 28, 2005 -- The International Society for Sephardic Progress (ISFSP) has just released a new documentary by Shelomo Alfassa entitled 'Glimpses of Sephardic Life' (Ojadas a La Vida Sefaradi). This is a new DVD made for home viewing, it is the personal experiences and an overview of Sephardic life with Daisy Alalouf Newell. In this film Daisy Alalouf Newell, a Sephardic woman whose parents were born in Salonika talks about her life experiences, growing up in a Sephardic home and family life. The DVD is in English, but the songs are sung in Judeo-Spanish (Ladino) with English subtitles. This is a personal and raw look into the life of a woman who is a second generation American, a woman who was raise in a Jewish home where Ladino was the primary language. Daisy Alalouf Newell lives in Palm Beach County, Florida, where she is active in Sephardic projects. This DVD has been produced by the International Society for Sephardic Progress.
