DontRelyOnMen.com Debuts Sex Talk Radio Podcast to Record Subscribers

"Don't Rely On" sex talk radio show debuts to record listeners for the first "real" sex talk radio show on the web. So, back to the drawing board. The major networks have revised the Mars/Venus phenomenon time and time again. However, this time a group of intriguing hosts does it on their own. This "new" take on the Mars versus Venus is more of a Mars/Venus versus Debbie Does Dallas! The show, now in its early stages, is wielding away at the unconventional with unprecedented critical acclaim. Originally broadcast via their own website (www.dontrelyonradio.com) they have now taken their radio broadcast to Podcast.net ( http://www.podcast.net/show/68426 ) in an effort to revolutionize the talk show industry. The raw and honest sex humor keeps both women and men tantalized and coming back for more.

(PRWEB) July 29, 2005 -- This latest offering is a rather shockingly vivid show named "Don't Rely On," an all-boys version of The View and the PlayGirl Channel. Why you ask? Well, why not? Billed as a unique peek into the minds, mentalities, and secrets of men for the benefit of both men and women, three guy's guys who aren't afraid to be brutally honest -- TV perennial and music producer "Rusty" (aka "Rio"), Blue Collar Pool Boy and Artist "Damien" (aka "C"), corporate refugee and musical maestro "Stephan" (aka "Mr. Romance"), and frequent female guests get together and gab at each other about "dating, mating and the entire gambit of relationship issues."

Don't Rely On's hosts demographically cover all the bases. They have the mature and helpless romantic (Stephan), the young hunk (Damien), the hunk-cum-intellectual (Rusty) that take questions directly from listeners and provide straight no-nonsense answers to today's complex relationship issues.

Always with the best intentions this group cleverly wavers into wild discussions, heated arguments, along with vivid and honest chat about the reality of all things men and women bring into everyday life - the three hosts are connected by real experiences and the views of the "average" American male. Stephan is a successful corporate man, Damien is out playing the field, and Rusty is mysterious as always. When was the last time you heard something as honest as this? It's been what we've all been waiting for - Sex In The City meets The Other Half meets The Manshow!

Of course, this is not a TV show nor is it the US congress. Entertainment is the goal - not boring censored and watered down public service messages. In this way, DRO is a fresh and exciting show, providing stimulating conversation along with an amazing music selection of longtails (Google it!), all the while making listeners laugh hysterically while spreading the shows popularity by word of mouth. At the moment, DRO is doing what many radio shows do from the beginning - building a base audience of subscribers for their premium site (launching in Fall 2005).

There's a lot going on in each of these segments, fantastically too much, in fact, as the hosts find themselves taking shots at a wide range of situations - yet right in line with everyday experiences of their listeners. These shenanigans take place against the background yelps of radio industry researchers, so loud and rowdy, you wonder if they've been licked by Don't Rely On's wacky talks about crazed dates to graphic sex. In their bid to both impress and amuse, the program zings from segment to segment with real un-rehearsed conversation -- the hosts, the guests, and the audience members are hardly given a chance to focus or even catch his or her breath.

But guess what? Don't Rely On has something else up their sleeve. They are currently recruiting lady DJs for their version of DontRelyOnWomen.com expecting to debut fall 2005.

The new Don't Rely On season begins July 7th, 2005 - Stay tuned or email RioWorld@USA.com for more schedule info.
