Expert on Violence Prevention Decries no Apologies from President Bush

Richard Bennett, an expert on violence prevention lists 40 reasons why President Bush needs to apologize. His first reason is never ever apologizing, and the last reason is for the obscene gesture he recently made to the press and thus, the whole world.

(PRWEB) July 30, 2005 -- Recently Senator Dick Durbin (D, IL) made a statement that offended the Republicans. He gracefully apologized for his comment.

I cannot ever recall President George W. Bush (R) every apologizing for anything. He uses bully tactics which are not legal, even in our schools. So I made a list of things for which he needs to apologize:

(1) For not apologizing.
(2) For being a bully.
(3) For deliberately misleading the world about weapons of mass destruction.
(4) For invading Iraq, as a terrorist.
(5) For killing thousands of people.
(6) For killing almost 1800 of our U.S. troops.
(7) For deliberately hiding information on his recent Supreme Court nominee.
(8) For manipulating both of our last two unfree presidential elections.
(9) For having no exit strategy for Iraq.
(10) For threatening other countries in the Middle East.
(11) For providing inadequate armor for our military.
(12) For paying little attention to the families whose sons, daughters, husbands or wives have given the ultimate sacrifice.
(13) For cutting benefits for our troops.
(14) For fighting his dads war.
(15) For extending the debt of the U.S. larger than it ever has been. As a country do we go bankrupt or simply print more money?
(16) For, at least in part, causing the bombings in London and in other places.
(17) For trying to steal our freedoms in the Patriot Act.
(18) For leaking information to embarrass a respected Security agent and her family. This is tantamount to murder.
(19) For his lack of real leadership. A bully is not a leader.
(20) For his contribution to the present world chaos. We are not safer now than we were.
(21) For his expression of religious values, which he uses to justify his killings.
(22) For his support of corporations over people.
(23) For his support of pollution.
(24) For his relationship with Saudi Arabia.
(25) For not catching Osama Bin Laden.
(26) For manipulating the news" media.
(27) For prohibiting freedom of speech.
(28) For turning the world into a gang war.
(29) For being pro-life and killing thousands of people.
(30) For funding inaccurate and immoral sex education.
(31) For not being a conservationist.
(32) For not freely disclosing his military status.
(33) For not being honest about the aftermath of 9-11.
(34) For fostering fear instead of peace at home and abroad.
(35) For presenting misleading financial information regarding Social Security.
(36) For dividing our country in order to win an election.
(37) For stifling our most sacred right of free expression.
(38) For torturing people who have not had the right to consult with an attorney.
(39) For his refusal to take a real leadership role with our military. After all he is the Commander and Chief.
(40) For presenting an obscene gesture to the press and thus, to the whole world.

Bush is unwillingness to listen or graciously respond to those small painful voices of the victims, countries and individuals, he has bullied and hurt, as a perpetrator hurts his victims.

I am neither Republican nor Democrat. I am simply a student of human nature and those small voices keep ringing in my ears saying, help, help, help.
