Kyiv-based Concorde Capital, the most dynamic Ukraine’s investment bank and a top PFTS trader, brings aboard two high-profile international equity professionals with rich experience in emerging markets.

Peter Bobrinsky, Concorde Capital’s newly appointed Director of International Equity Sales, prior to joining the company was Vice President of Equity Sales at Alfa Capital Markets (an Alfa Bank division) in London. Mr Bobrinsky has a solid background in institutional investments, businesses development, corporate finance & market planning, business operations in the CIS and government relations. Peter holds an MBA from Oxford University with a focus on corporate finance, financial product analysis and investment banking.

“I am very excited to join Concorde’s team at a time when Ukraine is emerging as a real new investment hotspot and major changes are undergoing in the country’s stock market and economy,” says, stressing that “there is huge potential to be realized in the domestic stock market and a number of promising companies that can be traded internationally in the near future”.

Nicholas Enukidze is going to join Concorde’s team early August as Managing Director, Investment Banking. Nicholas possesses cross-industry investment analysis & consulting expertise with major CIS, East and Central European JVs, privatization deals and acquisitions. While working as a VP corporate finance at ABN AMRO in London, Nicholas’ most recent responsibilities included Corporate Finance efforts in the CEE and Mid-East, including origination and execution of M&As and Equity Capital Markets transactions. Mr. Enukidze advised Mittal Steel; Apex Partners, Hemofarm, Andrew Corporation, Cable & Wireless, SWIFT and other market leaders on their finance, technology, metals and mining strategies in key emerging markets. Nika will lead the drive to continue providing quality pre-IPO placements, with very high returns, to Concorde’s clients. Nicholas holds an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Nicholas is confident in the rapid development of Ukraine’s equity market and says that “positive dynamics of the economy here, together with recent efforts to increase market transparency are to boost a number of large international equity deals in the coming 2-3 years”.

John Suggitt, Concorde Capital’s Managing Partner, considers the ongoing expansion of the company’s international sales team as a key factor for “continuing our strong push forward in linking the international investment community with the rapidly advancing Ukrainian equity market”. “We will continue bringing in the most talented professionals, be they from London, New York or Singapore to ensure we have the highest quality team and thus firmly position Concorde Capital as the #1 investment bank in Ukraine,” says Mr. Suggitt.

Concorde Capital is one of the most dynamic Ukrainian investment banks and a top PFTS trader. According to the June PFTS rating, Concorde placed second, outperforming all other major international brokers. In December 2004, in the company’s first month of operation, Concorde was the #1 trader.
