New Computerized ID Program for Pets Available

'Protected Pet ID is a new safety product designed specifically for pets. This computerized identification program fills the gap between when a pet goes missing and when it is found so it can be scanned for a microchip. With this program, the pet guardian saves and continually updates information about their pet on their home computer. If the pet goes missing, the guardian can create and print Lost Pet Posters--complete with disappearance information, pictures and identifying information. More importantly, the Lost Pet Poster can be emailed to the local humane society, animal control office or Fire Department so they can begin immediately searching for the lost pet.

(PRWEB) July 30, 2005 -- 'Protected Pet ID' is a new safety product designed specifically for pets. This computerized identification program fills the gap between when a pet goes missing and when it is found so it can be scanned for a microchip.

Protected Pet ID allows the pets guardian to become immediately involved in the recovery of their furry companion. It also lets the guardian keep the pets information current at home, rather than trying to remember to submit any new information about the pet to a microchip registry.

With this program, the pet guardian saves and continually updates information about their pet on their home computer. If the pet goes missing, the guardian can create and print - at the click of a button - Lost Pet Posters complete with disappearance information, pictures and identifying information.

More importantly, the Lost Pet Poster can be emailed to the local humane society, animal control office or Fire Department so they can begin immediately searching for the lost pet.

Protected Pet ID collects two pictures of the pet: a front, portrait view and a side profile, showing the pets markings. Vital statistics are also stored in this program, such as physical descriptions, pet behaviors, unusual characteristics and fears, pedigree, titles and bloodlines and medical history and medications.

This program allows the owner to make back-up copies for their vehicles and travel, so they are never without the important information to create the Lost Pet Poster.

Because this is a computer program that is used on a home PC or laptop, it can be used anywhere in the world. The program is available in English only.

Protected Pet ID is also available for use as a free fundraiser for animal welfare organizations.

Representatives are currently being sought. Protected Pet ID comes in a single pet version (MSRP $14.95) as well as a multiple pet version (MSRP $24.95), which holds up to five pet IDs on one disk.
