Vision Ministries International Issues a Call to A.R.M.S.

Volunteer mentors are needed for an exciting new program designed to transform the lives of young men.

Duluth, GA (PRWEB) July 30, 2005 -- Vision Ministries International is actively seeking positive male figures to serve as volunteer mentors.

As a leader in the Anointed and Righteous Men of Standard (A.R.M.S.) Mentorship Program, these men will aid in a nine-month journey of discovery for young males between the ages of 13 and 18. This program is currently focused on youth in the South DeKalb County area of Georgia, with a long term goal of expanding worldwide. Interviews will be conducted on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005 to select mentors for the 2005-2006 program year. These interviews will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bountiful Blessings Christian Ministries, located at 2364 Park Central Boulevard, Decatur, GA 30035.

The A.R.M.S. Mentorship Program is a structured combination of classroom instruction, peer activities, community service initiatives, and one-on-one encounters between the young male and his designated mentor. Between the months of September and May, the program participants will receive ongoing lessons designed to formulate a positive self-image, challenge current life perceptions, and foster growth from spiritual, social, and educational standpoints.

This dynamic concept is the brainchild of Min. Evita L. Smith, the founder of Vision Ministries International.
