James Pollard Joins MARC Global’s Board of Directors

Pollard is a veteran senior executive with a distinguished career managing worldwide operations and technology at several Fortune 1000 companies. He has served as senior Vice President and CIO at Gateway Inc., responsible for managing Gateway’s Information Technology on a global basis. In this position, he was recognized by CIO magazine as a “Top 100 CIO.” Prior to Gateway, he served as Executive Vice President, Operations and CIO at Tech Data Corporation, responsible for worldwide logistics, distribution, information technology and electronic business.

In addition, Pollard has had considerable experience from very large organizations such as Florida Power Corporation, where he served as CIO as well as an Executive and Board Member for several operational subsidiaries and at Southern California Gas Company as a Senior Vice President with responsibility for customer service, operations and information systems. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah, and an Executive MBA from the University of South Florida.
