When was the last time you ever heard of an affordable and real six figure business opportunity that the struggling middle class could use to break out of the paycheck to paycheck living. An opportunity you can be proud of and help get ahead and experience life the way it was supposed to be. And most importantly, an opportunity that doesn't require you to pester your friends and family with products no one wants or needs.

I went to a franchise and licensing opportunity trade show in Las Vegas. The prototypical opportunities were there in full force: MLM's, billboard brokering, Internet marketing etc. After about 15 minutes each table of this gigantic parade with over 400 vendor participants began to look identical. Isle after isle of identical opportunities out for nothing but your upfront fee and the anticipation that youll just fall off the radar in a few months, then on to the next opportunity seeker. The whole time I felt nothing but anger and regret that I spent the money and wasted my time to fly all the way out here from Philly, dreaming of finding the perfect opportunity but in reality finding nothing, that is, until I approached a booth, in the last isle at the very end of the day.

The booth read Fathom Production Studios premier commercial production for small to medium businesses. These guys were different. There was no sales speech. No artificial hype. These guys didnt care if I signed on with them or not, to the contrary, they kept telling me why I should sign on with them as an agent which made me want it more. The opportunity in and of itself was simple: they sell TV commercial production services to small and medium size businesses at wholesale rates. They had a lead generation service and solid training and they didnt stand there and deliver a pie in the sky routine about how much money you could make.

I decided that this was the opportunity for me and I asked them, so whats the next step, can I pay you with my credit card" (I had assumed that this was how it was done since every other vendor there used extreme urgency in their presentation and wanted a deposit right then and there) they laughed and said, hold on now, heres my card, think about it, talk to your wife, your friends and really consider if this is what you want in a career and, after all of that, if you still want to do this, call me in about two weeks and well talk." I did just that and today, almost six years later I have an extremely lucrative business reselling production services to small and medium size businesses in the north east.

I wrote and published this article on my own to let people know that if you look hard enough, there still are real opportunities out there; for me it was becoming an agent with Fathom Production Studios, for you it may be something else but whatever it is, never give in to pressure tactics, never let them belittle you and always go with your gut.
